BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k/8k Memorial Day Run/Walk

👣 48th Annual Memorial Day Bigfoot Challenge

Join us on May 25, 2026, for the Bigfoot Challenge 5K/8K in the little town of Dansville! The race starts at 8:30 AM, and there's a Parade following at 12 PM.

• T-shirt & Finishing Medal: All entries receive a T-shirt and a Bigfoot Finishing Medal. New 250th year design is here!

💵 Entry Fees

The entry fee follows this schedule:

• Until 3/16: $27
• Until 4/14: $29
• Until 5/14: $31
• Day of Registration: $49 (cash, check, or online sign-up)

🏃‍♂️ Little Foot Race

For participants 12 and under:

• Entry Fee: $15 for Little Foot, $20 on the day of the race.
• Start Time: 8:10 AM on the track.
• Includes: A cool medal and a T-shirt.
• Challenge: Run one lap or two, and see if you can beat Bigfoot!

⏱️ Results

Your accurate chip time for the 5K/8K will be texted to your phone and displayed live on the site. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

🏆 Age Group Awards

5K & 8K Bigfoot Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 in each age group:

• 12 & under
• 13-14, 15-16
• 17-18, 19-24
• 25-29, 30-34

Additional age groups: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

🥇 Overall Awards

Overall awards for both 5K & 8K include LARGE BIGFOOT TROPHIES for:

• Male and Female Overall
• Master (Over 40)
• Grand Master (Over 50)
• Senior Master (Over 60)

🎖️ Awards Ceremony

Awards are self-serve, but we will announce our overall winners in both races.

📦 Packet Pick Up

Packet pick-up will occur:

• Sunday Night: 6:30-7 PM at the High School track
• Race Day: Starting at 7:00 AM at the Dansville High School Track
• Race Day Registration Fee: $39
