• Event Name: Mighty Mile - FREE RACE FOR KIDS

🎽 What's Included

• Swag: All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and an accurate chipped timed mile.
• Finisher Medal: Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal.
• Cost: FREE! There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile.
• Registration: Online registration is required to participate.

📅 Schedule

• Race 1: 6:30pm | 5 - 7 year olds
• Race 2: 6:40pm | 8 – 9 year olds
• Race 3: 7:00pm | 10 - 11 year olds
• Race 4: 7:15pm | 12 - 14 year olds

🏆 Results & Awards

• Timing: This race will be electronically timed using the disposable tag system.
• Results: Available immediately after the race and will be posted on the website.
• Awards: There are no awards for the race: all runners will receive a medal.
• Purpose: To challenge the children to run their best and promote a healthy lifestyle.

🏁 Course Information

• Start & Finish: The race starts and finishes on the Dansville Track.
• Course Layout: The first 1/4 mile is on the track, followed by a loop on school grounds, ending with a 1/4 mile on the track.
• Encouragement: Members of the Dansville High School Cross Country team will be present to support runners.
• Parental Participation: Feel free to run with your child!

💧 Important Reminders

• Packet Pick Up: Race day at Dansville High School starting at 5:45 pm.
• Water: Bring water for your child: there is no water available at the race.
• Registration: Must be done online prior to the race: no registration available at the event.
• Participants Limit: Race is limited to the first 200 participants.
