Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Lace up your sneakers and hit the River Trail with Mayor Andy Schor! Join us at Potter Park on June 7 at 9 AM for a fun and scenic 5K loop along the river. Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome!

• Participant Perks: Every participant receives a t-shirt, medal, and snacks at the end.
• Fun Stations: There will also be fun stations along the way to break up the trail for the kids.
• ArtPath Installs: The trail will lead you by 20 all new ArtPath installations for this year.
• Art Partnership: This event marks the 8th year of bringing art to the trail with the Lansing Art Gallery.

💰 Registration Details

• Competitive Run Fee: Registration for the competitive run is $20 until May 24th, which includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt, finisher medal, and matching socks.
• Price Increases: From 5/25 to 6/3, the fee is $25: from 6/4 to 6/6, the fee is $30.
• Walkers Registration: Registration is free to walkers and includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt and finisher medal!
• No Race Day Registration: Be sure to preregister as there will be no race day registration available for competitive runners.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Pickup Dates: June 4th and 5th from 3-6pm at the Foster Center (200 N Foster Ave, Lansing).
• Race Day Pickup: On race day starting at 8:00 am at Potter Park.
• Walkers Registration: Walkers can register on-site.

• Charity Support: Proceeds and donations from this event go to support the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails.
• Professional Timing: The competitive run will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted during the race on this website.
