Tidewater Strider Dismal Swamp 50K / Marathon /Half Marathon/50K Relay

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 6th Annual Dismal Swamp/50K/Marathon/Half Marathon and 50K Relay

🏅 Race Highlights

• Marathon: We are keeping the Marathon for this year's race. It will take place on our USATF Certified Course!
• Rank: Ranked the Fastest course in Virginia and 47th Fastest in the US by Findmymarathon.com!
• Opportunity: Huge BQ opportunity!
• Changes: We are replacing the 100K with the Half Marathon this year, and also replacing 100K relay with 50K Relay.

📍 Course Information

• Start Times: 50K & Relay Starts at 7:00 am, Marathon/Half Marathon starts at 7:30 am.
• Time Limit: There is a 9hr limit (4 PM).
• Course Structure: The course is an out and back 3.88 miles each way for the 50K with 4 loops.
• Certification: The Marathon and 50K courses are USATF Certified.

🥤 Fluids and Food

• Aid Stations: 1 full aid station at start/finish after every loop with food, water, and nutrition drinks!
• Water Stations: There will be water stations set up on the course for Marathon & Half Marathon runners.
• Manned Stations: Manned stations will be set up during the Marathon.
• Unmanned Station: An unmanned water station will be close to the 50K turnaround for the Ultra race when the Marathon is complete.

🎖️ Amenities & Post-Race

• Finishers Medals: Finishers receive a Medal, Hoodie Sweatshirt for 50K, and long-sleeve shirt for Marathon & Half Marathon.
• BQ Shirt: All Runners who qualify for Boston will receive a BQ Shirt!
• Post-Race Area: Enjoy post-race refreshments.
• Items: Finishers items will be provided.

⏰ Time Limits

• Start Times: 50K & 50K Relay Starts at 7 am, Full Marathon & Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM.
• Finish Line: The finish line will close at 4 PM.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 overall Male and Female will receive awards.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and female in the following Age groups: 39 & under, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

📝 Registration

• Opens: Registration will be open race day up to Race Start.
• Discounts: Strider Plus/Legacy runners will have a discount applied at checkout.
• Club Membership: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available through race day.
• Entry Forms: Paper entry forms are not available.

🎒 Packet Pickup

• Time: Packet pickup will be at the start line starting at 6:15 am until the Marathon & Half Marathon starts!

🤝 50K Relay

• Team Registration: When registering, please sign up your team if you are the first member signing up.
• Team Size: You can have anywhere from 2 to 4 members on your team!

🥇 Elite Field

• Comp Elite Entry: New this year: if you have run faster than the time listed below in the last 2 years!

• Nutrition Stations: Nutrition drop tables will be set up in multiple areas on the course for the marathon.

• Marathon: Men: 2:40, Women: 3:00
• 50K: Men: 3:15, Women: 3:50
• Half Marathon: Men: 1:15, Women: 1:22
