💙 Race Description

• Charity Purpose: A charity fundraiser event now in its 11th year benefiting local initiatives to improve delivery of mental health care in the Hampton Roads area.
• Course Details: The race is a certified fast out and back 5K course and a 1-mile Fun Run that courses through the scenic Harbour View area of Suffolk, running alongside a golf course and passing several beautiful lakes.
• Race Bling: Participants will receive an awesome custom short sleeve tech running shirt for the first 250 participants before July 19, 2025. Shirt order will be placed on 07/19/2025 after 12:00 noon.
• Post-Race Treats: Coffee and donuts served after the race. Join us for an "After race Meet-Up at MoMac Brewery for $3.10 pints, located at 3228 Academy Ave. Portsmouth, VA 23703.

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

• Start and Finish: Located at Towne Bank University.
• Course Type: Scenic, flat, paved 5K and 1 mile course.
• Route Features: Meanders through neighborhood streets along a golf course with a water stop and course marshals.

💰 Benefit Information

• Proceeds: Used by the Chas Foundation to improve access to local mental health care.
• Engagement: Board members will be on site to answer any questions and explain ongoing programs this race supports.

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: The top 3 Overall male and female will receive an award.
• Masters Awards: 1st overall male and female Masters will receive an award.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers in 10 yr. age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-99 will receive an award.
• Note: There are no awards given in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
