🎉 Welcome to the 5th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon

👕 Must Register by June 8th for a guaranteed Race Shirt

🏃‍♂️ RACES:

• Sprint Duathlon: 2 mile Run - 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run
• Kids Mini Duathlon: 1 mile Run - 5 Mile Bike Ride - 1/2 mile Run
• Novice Sprint Duathlon: Same distance as the Sprint, for Multi-sport Beginners

📍 COURSE:

• Type: Out & back course
• Location: Closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake.

💧 FLUIDS AND FOOD:

• Aid Station: 1 aid station at the transition area
• Options: Water & Gatorade available

🥇 AMENITIES & POST-RACE:

• Race Shirts: Premium Race Shirts for men and women
• Medals: Medals for all Finishers
• Refreshments: Onsite hospitality & refreshments
• Awards Ceremony: Following the race

⏰ TIME LIMITS:

• Sprint: The race starts at 7:30 AM with a 3hr time limit
• Kids Mini: Starts at 9:15 AM with a 2hr time limit

🏆 AWARDS:

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Male and Female in Sprint Duathlon
• Age Group: Top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups
• Mini Duathlon: Awards for ages under 10, 10-12, and 13 & up
• Novice Sprint: Top 3 Overall male & female

📝 REGISTRATION:

• Deadline: Registration open until Friday, June 28, 2024
• Race Day: NO race day Registration

📦 Packet Pickup:

• Time: Race day packet pickup starting at 6:30 am

• Details: Automatically applied at checkout through June 28th
