🏃♂️ Welcome to the Tidewater Strider Duathlon
This is the 4th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon taking place on June 28, 2025, at the Rest stop at mile post 4 Dismal Swamp, Chesapeake, VA.
👕 Must Register by June 8th for a guaranteed Race Shirt
🚴♂️ RACES
- Sprint Duathlon: 2 mile Run - 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run
- Kids Mini Duathlon: 1 mile Run - 5 mile Bike Ride - 1/2 mile run!
- Novice Sprint Duathlon: Multi-sport Beginners, same distance as the Sprint, this race will be run at the same time as the Sprint!
- Note: NEW DISTANCES THIS YEAR.
🗺️ COURSE
Out & back course on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake.
💧 FLUIDS AND FOOD
There will be 1 aid station at the transition area with Water & Gatorade.
🏅 AMENITIES & POST-RACE
- Race Shirts: Premium Race Shirts for men and women will be provided.
- Medals: Medals for all Finishers.
- Food: Onsite hospitality & refreshments.
- Awards Ceremony: Following the race!
⏳ TIME LIMITS
Sprint --- The race starts at 7:30 AM. Kids Mini starts at 9:15 am. 3hr time limit for the sprint, 2 hr time limit for the mini.
🥇 AWARDS
The top 3 overall Male and Female and the top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups will receive awards for Sprint Duathlon! 9 under 10-12 13&up for Mini Duathlon! top 3 Overall male & Female in the Novice sprint Duathlon!
📝 REGISTRATION
Registration will be open until Friday, June 28, 2024. NO race day Registration.
📦 Packet Pickup
Race day packet pickup starting at 6:30 am.
