Have you ever experienced the runner’s high that comes with conquering a race? There’s nothing quite like it.

Whether it’s your first ever 5k or your first in a long time, Fleet Feet Northern New Jersey has a training program made for all levels that will get you to the finish line of one of the most exciting 5ks in Bergen County of the year: The 27th TEF Tenafly 5K Run &: Dog Walk

📅 Training Program Details

Join us for a 8 week training program beginning April 7th, 2025. This program offers a balance of run/walk workouts, cross training and rest days to gradually increase your fitness. Plus, your coaches and fellow training group members will provide the guidance and motivation you need to stay on track and have fun along the way.

🎉 Race Highlights

• Two Races: Running both the TEF Tenafly 5K Run &: Dog Walk Run on June 1st at Tenafly Middle School Sunset Lane Tenafly, NJ US 07670 and The Big Run 5K Fun Run on June 8th at 7:00pm at Fleet Feet Westfield.
• Community Celebration: These two races are so much more than just some awesome 5ks, TEF Tenafly 5K Run &: The Big Run are celebrations of running and the community it pulls together.
• Social Option: If the training program isn't for you then you have the option to just join us for the Big Run Fun Run on June 8th! Afterwards join us at Lions Roar Brewery for a drink and pizza on Fleet Feet!
• Limited Spots: Come run with us! We know you can do it! Spots are limited so get yours NOW!

🎁 What's Included

• 8 Week Training Program: With certified RRCA (Road Runner Club of America) &: USATF (USA Track &: Field) coaches.
• In-Person Runs: Wednesdays at 6:30pm &: Saturdays at 8:30am.
• Discounts: Off race registration for Tenafly 5k and FREE entry into the Big Run.
• Special Events: Fit Night with a 10% off discount, Monday March 24th, and Wednesday March 26th 6:00pm.

💰 Additional Information

Entry to the Tenafly 5k is NOT included, but you do get a pretty sweet discount on it! However, price for the training program does include The Big Run Fun Run 5k!

All donation proceeds go to TEF: All proceeds from the event support the Tenafly Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds teacher-initiated programs and projects in the Tenafly public schools that the school budget is unable to cover. These grants allow teachers and administrators to bring their creative and innovative ideas into the classroom in order to enhance the learning experience. Visit www.tefnj.org for more information. The Tenafly 5K is the single largest fundraiser for TEF. The event raised over $50,000 in 2024 and has raised more than $800,000 since its inception in 1999.
