🏃‍♂️ The Madison 5K Run/Walk

The 22nd annual Madison 5K will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Register by April 10th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race Day Registration will be available.

📅 Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Friday 5/3 and Saturday 5/4 at Alfred's Sport Shop (32 Main Street, Madison, NJ) and Sunday before the race at Madison High School.
• Parking: Parking at Madison Recreation Complex (184 Ridgedale Avenue) will be accessible via Park Avenue. There will be no parking at the Madison High School after 8:15am.
• Race Times: 9:30am (1 Mile), 10am (5K), 11am (Kids Fun Runs at MHS Track).

🎓 Support and Financial Aid

Proceeds from this event will support teacher-initiated grants at all five Madison public schools.

The MEF will cover the registration fee for students and families with financial need. For more information, please contact the student’s principal. All requests will be kept confidential.

🏁 Event Details and Pricing

We have 3 events to register and some combo packages:

1. 1 Mile Run: for all ages. Race starts at 9:30am. $30: 17 years old and under is $20.
2. 5K Run: for all ages. Race starts at 10am. $30: 17 years old and under is $20.
3. Kids Fun Run: for kids 10 and under only. Race starts at 11am. $15.
4. Kids 2 Race Package 1 Mile + Kids Fun Run: for kids 10 and under only - Best Deal! 2 races for the price of 1 - Entry for both the 1 Mile (9:30am) and the Kids Fun Run (11am): $25.
5. Kids 2 Race Package 5K + Kids Fun Run: for kids 10 and under only - Best Deal! 2 races for the price of 1 - Entry for both the 5K (10am) and the Kids Fun Run (11am): $25.
6. Family Pricing: Multi-Person Pricing is also available for 4-6 registrants at $90. This can be a combination of the 1 Mile, 5K, Kids Fun Run, or the 2 race packages 5K + Kids Fun Run or 1 Mile + Kids Fun Run. This will be effective once more than 3 participants have been added.
