Mission: The Galloway NYC Running Club helps people of all ages and fitness levels achieve their fitness goals while having fun and remaining injury-free -- even if they have never run before.
Program Focus: Most members participate in our marathon or half-marathon training programs, though many members simply run with us to train for races of shorter distances or just to maintain their fitness.
Training Approach: Weekly mileage slowly increases over the training season to prepare for fall marathons or half-marathons, safely adding no more than 10% from week to week.
Method: The Galloway run-walk-run method is beneficial for all kinds of runners, from brand new to very experienced runners.

Camaraderie: Join us for one of our Saturday morning weekly group runs. The first session is free!
Support: You’ll experience great camaraderie, effective training, and lots of support.
Meeting Location: Meet at the Tavern on the Green parking lot, traditional land of the Wappinger and Munsee Lenape people (entry at West 67th & Central Park West or via the West Drive of the park interior).
Activity: Meet and greet your teammates and do a 30-minute run/walk in the park. Stick around for coffee after!
Schedule: We typically meet on Saturday mornings throughout the city; exceptions are weekends when there's an NYRR Five Borough Series race on a Saturday (Sundays May 18 and June 15), and adjustments for unsafe weather conditions.
