Hoboken Catholic Academy 14th Annual "Run Into Summer" 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Kid Run - USATF & Grand Prix Sanctioned Event

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Please join us at Pier A in Hoboken on June 7, 2025 for the Hoboken Catholic Academy 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run! It will be flat and fast, so come on out and set a PR!!!!

• Time: 8:00 am for 5K / 9:30 am for Kids 1 Mile
• Location: Pier A, Hoboken, NJ

👦 Kids' Race Details

We will also be hosting a Kids 1 mile race, currently scheduled to begin at 9:30 am.

• Separate Signups: There are separate signups for general public and HCA students for both the 5K and Kids Mile races.
• Timing: Gun time for all races: updated timing will be provided throughout.
• Water Stations: There will be water on-course and at the finish line.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted at the race site and on the website later in the day.

📅 Registration Information

Race registration opens online on March 25, 2024.

• Packet Pickup: Available at Hoboken Catholic Academy on June 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Race Day Signup: Available but timed results and race shirts are subject to availability.
• Packet Pickup Authorization: You may authorize another person to pick up your packet.
• Results Criteria: Rankings will be based on gun time.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

There will be an awards ceremony: you must be present to collect your award. Awards will roll down to the next finisher who is present. Award ceremony will start at approximately 10:00 am.

• Awards Categories: Top 3 Overall Male and Female 5K finishers.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male & Female Runners in 10-Year Groups from 15-19 to 90+
• HCA Family Awards: Including Top Overall HCA Mother and Dad, and top runners in the kids’ races.
• No Duplicates: Eligible for one award only: can choose which to receive if multiple categories are achieved.

💼 Race Day Logistics

The 5K is scheduled for an 8:00 am start time and the Kids 1 mile race at approximately 9:30 am. Start times are subject to change.

• Course Support: On-course volunteers to guide along the course.
• Safety: EMS will be on scene for emergencies.
• Updates: Note all times are subject to change, check back for updates.
