Hoboken Catholic Academy 14th Annual "Run Into Summer" 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Kid Run - USATF Sanctioned and USATF-NJ Grand Prix Event worth 500 points

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Please join us at Pier A in Hoboken on June 7, 2025 for the Hoboken Catholic Academy 14th Annual 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run! It will be flat and fast, so come on out and set a PR!!!!

👶 Kids Race

We will also be hosting a Kids 1 mile race, currently scheduled to begin at 9:30 am.

📝 Registration Information

• Separate Signups: Please note that there are separate signups for the general public and HCA students for both the 5K Kids and 1 Mile Kids races.
• Timing: Timing will be gun time for all races. Updated timing will be provided periodically throughout the races.
• Water Stations: There will be water on course and at the finish line.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted at the race site and on this website as well later in the day.

📅 Packet Pickup

Race registration opens online on March 25, 2024.

• Pickup Date: Race packet pick up will be available at Hoboken Catholic Academy on Friday June 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Location subject to change, please check back here for updates.
• Race Day Signup: There will also be race day sign up: however, timed results and race shirts are subject to availability.
• Authorized Pickup: You may authorize another person to pick up your packet.
• Timing Basis: Results will be posted and rankings will be based on gun time.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

There will be an awards ceremony, you must be present to collect your award. We will not mail awards. Instead, awards will roll down to the next finisher who is present. Award ceremony will start at approximately 10:00 am.

1. Top 3 Overall Male 5K race finishers
2. Top 3 Overall Female 5K race finishers
3. Top 3 Male & Female Runners in 10-Year Groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+

👪 HCA Family Awards

1. Top Overall HCA Mother - 5K finisher (no duplicates)
2. Top Overall HCA Dad - 5K finisher (no duplicates)
3. Top 3 Overall HCA Boys – 5K kid’s race
4. Top 3 Overall HCA Girls – 5K kid’s race
5. Top HCA Boy – 1 mile race
6. Top HCA Girl – 1 mile race

🔄 Award Eligibility

No duplicates means you are only eligible for one award: if you place in multiple categories, you will be given the option to choose which category you wish to be honored in and the other category will roll down to the next best finisher.

⏰ Race Schedule

The 5K is scheduled for an 8:00 am start time and the Kids 1 mile race is set to begin at approximately 9:30 am. Start times are subject to change.

🚑 Safety and Support

There will be on-course volunteers to guide you along the course to ensure you’re going in the proper direction as well as to ensure your safety. EMS will be on scene for emergencies.
