Race Day Schedule:

• 6:30 AM: RACE DAY REGISTRATION begins
• 7:00 AM - 11 AM: FEBRUARY FESTIVAL EXPO. Full of FUN. Make your own Valentines. Be a Valentine.
• 8:00 AM: START of the HEART RUN HALF MARATHON (only)
• 8:15 AM: Kid's Dash

❤️ Celebrate Valentine's Day

CELEBRATE Valentine’s in a healthy HEART filled way! Choose 5K/10K or Half Marathon. Bring family, friends, or a sweetheart. Or, possibly meet one! It's a full-fledged February celebration. YOUR largest, and BEST February heart-themed RACE!

• Includes: A bib and a 5K shirt or half marathon hoodie, and a custom medal that matches.
• Finisher Medals: Everyone gets a finisher medal!
• Awards: Amazing and ample age division awards, plus top three overall awards.
• Expo Activities: The expo has a "full of heart" section, including a make-your-own Valentine card station.

🍽️ Food and Refreshments

Also available as an add-on: A $6 food voucher ticket. This can get street tacos, tamales, a drink, and a tamale or a coffee drink from the coffee stand. Or, home baked Valentine's cookies. Or you can bring cash for race morning.

🚙 Parking Information

Remember to also have $15 cash on hand if you are coming in the State Park gate to park. We encourage carpools. There is free parking throughout Sunset Beach if you are willing to jog east and into that last LOT 25 on the corner of Warner and PCH. No car entrance is available at that far corner. All vehicles coming into the Bolsa Chica State Park must come in through the main gate in the mid-section.

5K RUN/WALK: Age Group Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd TOP Overall Male/Female Trophy. Age divisions: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90 plus.

HALF MARATHON: Age Group Awards for Half Marathon 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Top Overall Male/Female Trophy. Age divisions: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90 plus.

🎽 Race Day Logistics

Pick up BIBs and SHIRTS on Race Day at LOT 25 beginning at 6:30 AM. The gates to the STATE PARK open at 6 AM.

HALF MARATHON participants get long sleeve ZIP up or PULL over HOODIES that say FINISHER on them. Medals help commemorate FEBRUARY themes. MAKE GOALS for yourself in February.
