Join the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego for the 2025 Nationwide Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk., a movement that brings our community together to educate, spread awareness and make a difference for the people we love who live with epilepsy. These nationwide events are dedicated to the memory of Sharon Rosenfeld, a nurse and teacher who cared deeply about epilepsy and advocated helmet safety. After you cross the finish line, there will be music, lawn games and a community picnic. We encourage families to bring their own blankets, beach chairs and umbrellas.

Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk. San Diego is a 15-mile Bike Ride or 5K Run/Walk, but it’s more than that. IT MATTERS BECAUSE…

• 1 IN 10: will have a SEIZURE in their lifetime
• 1 IN 26: will be DIAGNOSED with EPILEPSY
• 50,000 SAN DIEGANS LIVE: with EPILEPSY
• 3.4 MIL: individuals nationwide are AFFECTED by EPILEPSY

📅 Schedule of Events

• 7:30am - Registration Opens: Packet Pick-up
• 8:45am - 15-Mile Bike Ride Start
• 9:30am - 5k Run/Walk Start
• 10:30am to Noon - Community Picnic

💸 Registration & Fundraising

Funds raised from Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk. provide education and awareness, training programs on seizure recognition and first aid, as well as access to specialty and supportive care for the nearly 50,000 people affected by epilepsy here in San Diego. People with epilepsy need our support more than ever. 80% of your registration fee is used for our no-cost programs and services to anyone affected by epilepsy.

• Free T-Shirt: Receive a FREE commemorative San Diego Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk. T-shirt. Sizes must be placed by April 1 to guarantee your size.
• Kids Pricing: Discount pricing for kids ages 6-12. Ages 0-5 are FREE to register with an option to add a t-shirt for $10.
• Fundraising Page: Everyone who registers will become a fundraiser and create their own personal fundraising page. Click here for fundraising ideas.
