- Course: 5K course during the lowest tide of the month on the beach from North Beach down to the end of the Shores and back.
- Family-Friendly: Kick off summer with this fun, family-friendly, chip-timed race. Run! Walk! Bike! Stroll!
- Beneficiaries: Provides much needed funds for charities with Wounded Warriors and First Responders being the primary beneficiaries.
- Post-Race Activities: After the race, enjoy LIVE MUSIC, grab a snack, visit local vendors' booths, and more.
🐦 Environmental Responsibility
- Protecting Species: Volunteers line the beach to protect the Least Tern’s nesting grounds, an endangered species.
- Course Decision: The race course is designed to keep it off of the Amphibious Base, protecting critical nesting grounds for the Least Tern and Snowy Plover.
- Awareness: Since 1970, we have lost half of all bird populations globally, as noted by the Audubon Society.
- Community Fun: The new race course is hassle-free, family-friendly, and perfect for celebrating the beginning of summer!
