🏃‍♂️ Celtic Canter 5K

Join us this year for the 14th Annual Celtic Canter 5K on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 9AM! The course starts and finishes at the Irish Festival on Main Street in Downtown Westminster. Registration includes a long-sleeve t-shirt (upgrade to a hooded sweatshirt for an additional $20), post-race beverage: beer for 21+ or a bottled water, refreshments, and an awards ceremony.

🎉 Irish Festival Details

• Time: The Irish Festival is held from 8AM-Noon.
• Activities: Enjoy live music, vendors, and activities for children.
• Trolley: Hop on the trolley for our fabulously fun pub crawl from Noon-4 PM.
• Cost: Trolley transportation is FREE. Trolley runs from Noon-5PM.

📝 Registration Information

• Online: Register ONLINE or IN-PERSON at the Westminster Family Fitness Center - 11 Longwell Avenue for $35.
• Price Increase: Registration increases on March 1 at 12:01 a.m. to $39 per runner.
• On the Day: You will also be able to register at Race Headquarters on 3/8 from 7:30 AM-Race Start for $39.
• Packet Pick-Up: March 6 and 7 from 7am-7pm at Recreation and Parks Department, 11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.

🤝 Refund Policy

If we must cancel, you can expect the following:

• Early Bird Registration: $30 registration fee (long-sleeve shirt option), refund would be $11.
• Before March 1: $35 registration fee (long-sleeve shirt option), refund would be $16.
• After March 1: $39 registration fee (long-sleeve shirt option), refund would be $20.
• Hooded Sweatshirt: Different refund amounts based on registration times.

🏆 Awards

Awards for Male and Female 1st & 2nd place in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & over. First Overall (Male & Female) & Masters 40+ (Male & Female).

👥 Team Awards

Sign up with others and create teams to win prizes. (Team Prize requirement is a minimum of 4). Prizes awarded for: fastest team, best dressed team, oldest team and youngest team.

🎽 0.5K Event

Don't miss the point! Presented by Crossroads Church which benefits Crossroads Missions: Calling all budding athletes and/or couch potatoes! Join us for a morning of glory, celebration, and participation medals to raise money for a great organization: Crossroads Missions.

• Basic Registration: $20, all finishers will receive a 0.5K magnet.
• T-Shirt: Long-sleeved t-shirt and participation medals for everyone.
• VIP Package: $25 for extra benefits including a VIP Firepit Lounge with AYCE Smore's Bar.
• Running Late Package: Increased fees after March 1 for both Basic and VIP registrations.

🏃‍♀️ 1-Mile Leprechaun Chase

A 1-mile Fun Run, held at 10:15 a.m. following the Celtic Canter 5K. Every participant will receive mittens, post-race refreshments and awards ceremony. Plus, stay after the race to enjoy the Irish Festival.

• Awards: Awards for top male and female finishers in designated age brackets.
• Participation Medal: All children 10 years of age and under will receive a medal and free kid’s meal coupon from Texas Roadhouse.
• Registration: $12 prior to March 1, $15 after March 1.
• Refund Policy: Fees refunded based on registration timing.
