Get ready for our 14th annual event and the first edition of our sweet-themed race! This year, we’re inviting you to race through the whimsical world of Candy Land! As you journey through the course, you'll encounter deliciously fun, candy-themed surprises at every turn. It's like running through a giant candy kingdom, where every step is filled with sweet adventure!

• 5K Race:
  • $36 per person if you register by February 28
  • $42 per person if you register by April 30
  • $48 per person if you register after May 1
• 1 Mile Fun Run:
  • $18 per person if you register by February 28
  • $21 per person if you register by April 30
  • $24 per person if you register after May 1

🎉 Race Supporter Option

Are you not a morning person and want to join us later for the post-race activities? Or do you just want to cheer on your KSDS family? Can't make it but want to support the event? The Race Supporter option is for you! You can arrive early and cheer on our runners, arrive later for the post-race festivities, or if you can’t make it, register for this option to still support our cause and event. The Race Supporter option is available for $18 per person.

We can't do it without your support! While your registration fee helps cover the costs of organizing the race and includes your race shirt, we encourage you to go above and beyond by creating your own fundraiser or making an additional donation to Krieger Schechter Day School. Your extra contribution helps raise the critical funds needed to ensure a Krieger Schechter education is accessible to all who wish to be part of our community. Every donation makes a difference!

📦 Packet Pick-Up at KSDS

We will share dates and times for you to pick up your packet of materials in preparation for the race as we get closer to the event date. To ensure the day of the race goes as smoothly as possible, we highly recommend that you pick up your packet at one of the pre-race packet pick-up times. We will have limited availability for packet pick-up on Race Day (onsite).

⏰ Timeline of Race Day

• Day-of Packet Pick-up begins at 8 a.m.
• 5K Run Start Time 9 a.m.
• 1 Mile Fun Run 9:05 a.m.
• Post-Race Festival 9:30 a.m.

🏆 Awards

The Awards Ceremony will take place during the post-race celebration following the race (approximately 10:15 am). Awards will be given to the top finisher in each KSDS grade level (K-8). We will also announce winners for the top finisher in the following categories: Faculty, Alumni, and Adults (18 years or older).

ℹ️ Additional Information

• Parking is available on-site.
• Children under 10 must run/walk with an adult.
• All runners registered by Wednesday, April 30 will receive a t-shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed after this date.
• For the safety of our runners, the 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is closed to bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, and pets. Strollers may be used for our 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Water stop and mile markers will be placed throughout the course.
