OPERATION PAWS FOR HOMES IS CELEBRATING ITS 15TH YEAR and THE ANNUAL FAST &: FURRIEST IS CELEBRATING ITS 10TH YEAR !!!
📝 Registration Details
- Online Registration: Online registration is open until 6:30AM on race day. After 6:30, register on site at the yellow check-in tent beginning at 7AM.
- Schedule: 8:15AM - 5K race, 9:00AM - 1M walk. Please visit vendors and 'DONATE &: DASH' tables before and after your scheduled event.
- Check-In Times: Runner check-in: 7:15-8:00, Walker check-in: 8:15-8:45.
- Register with Dog: Welcome your leashed dogs to run or walk the course. Register as WITH DOG-LIVE 5K RUN.
🐾 Participation Options
- Walking the 5K: You can walk the 5K course. Register as 1M LIVE UNTIMED WALK and let us know during check-in.
- Virtual Race Dates: Friday, April 25 through Monday, April 28.
- Course Type: Entire course is within the park grounds and is paved except for small crossing areas with light gravel.
- Race Shirts: Shirts are by reservation only. Reserve your shirt during registration by April 3.
🎖️ Awards and Vendors
- Awards: Awards for runners on site will be announced later.
- Food Vendors: On site food trucks and vendors are being finalized. Please check here for updates.
- Participation Cost: Children aged 0-10 are free, with no shirt option.
- Shirt Distribution: Only pre-ordered shirts will be distributed at check-in.
💖 Event Purpose
The 10th Annual Fast &: Furriest 5K race and 1M walk benefits Operation Paws for Homes, an all-breed 501c3 dog rescue. This event is one of the rescue's largest fundraisers aimed at covering medical needs for dogs. Each year, the organization incurs significant medical costs, and this race aims to contribute to those funds.

We encourage families, runners, walkers, and supporters to join us in helping dogs in need. Let everyone know that they can participate in this event even from afar using a virtual option. Together, let’s make a difference coast to coast this year!
