St Joseph 5K and Fun Run

🎉 About the Race

• Join Us: Come out and join the Frederick community for our 3rd Annual St. Joseph's 5K and Fun Run.
• Open to All: Runners and walkers of all levels are invited for a fun and rewarding event.
• T-Shirt Deadline: Register by March 5th to guarantee an official race day t-shirt.
• Timekeeping: 5K runners will be timed with chipped bibs, and prize medals will be awarded to the top three men and women.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

• Fun Run Awards: All Fun Run participants (13 and under) will be awarded a Fun Run ribbon.
• Prize Drawing: All registered runners are entered into a drawing for prizes from local businesses.
• Local Sponsors: Prizes include offerings from Tree Trekkers, The Boulder Yard, X-Golf, Urban Air, Capital Grille, The Frederick Keys, and more!

📅 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, March 28th from 5-7 PM.
• Location: Historic Church at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor.
• Race Day Pickup: Available on race day from 7-8 AM, arrive early to avoid delays.
• Parking: Separate parking lot for the historic church is available.

🛒 Food Drive

• Support Local Families: Please consider bringing a canned good or dry food item to donate.
• Beneficiary: Donations support St. Joseph Food Pantry for local families in need.

📋 Race Day Schedule

• 7-8 AM: Packet Pickup and On-site registration
• 8:15 AM: Group Warm-up led by Rachel Kenawell
• 8:25 AM: National Anthem by the Frederick Catoctones
• 8:30 AM: 5K Race starts
• 9:15 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run starts
• 10:00 AM: 5K Awards

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Deadline: All participants should park no later than 8:15 AM.
• Late Arrivals: Enter Manor Woods Road from the New Design Side if you arrive late.
• Parking Location: Main parking lot of the church: volunteers will direct you.

👶 Stroller Policy

• Allowed: Strollers are allowed for the event.
• Starting Position: Stroller participants should line up in the back for safety.
• Type of Stroller: Ensure it is a jogging or running stroller if running.

🐾 Pet Policy

• No Pets: Please refrain from bringing pets to this event.
