Welcome to the 2024 Annual 5K Run (or Walk) for Recovery for the Loudoun Serenity House. We are grateful for your support.

📅 Event Details

Date: April 26, 2025
Location: 17339 Southern Planter Ln, Leesburg, VA
Pre-Run Packet Pickup: Peet's Coffee in Belmont Chase Drive, Ashburn on April 26 (7am-9am or 4pm-6pm).
In-Person Fun Run: Morven Park on April 27 (8am to 2pm), group run at 9am.

👥 Groups/Teams and Fundraisers

This run supports both Groups/Teams and Fundraisers. Please consider creating both when you register and use the same name for both to make it clear for others joining you. Groups are a collection of runners participating in the run. Fundraiser is for collecting donations in support of a group or individual.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I complete the 5K by walking?
- Yes, you can run, walk, bike or swim to complete the "run". We will have a route identified for the in-person run at Morven Park on 4/27.
Is this a "sanctioned" race?
- No, the 2024 Run for Recovery is a fun run. There will not be official time keeping at the in-person run.
When can I run the in-person run at Morven Park?
- Loudoun Serenity House will be there from 8am-2pm. A group run is planned for 9 am, but you can run at any time.
Will food/drinks be provided?
- Loudoun Serenity House will provide water and snacks pre-run and a picnic lunch post-run. Bring a chair or picnic blanket.
Can I bring my dog?
- Yes, please do! Please follow all park rules.
Can I tour the mansion?
- Yes, the Mansion is open for tours on Saturdays hourly from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The tour takes about 45 minutes to an hour and is $16 per person. Tickets can be purchased on our website here or purchased in person at the Visitor Center located in the Mansion.
