The 2024 race is fully sold out. Please consider volunteering or you may join the waitlist.

• Waitlist Closing: The waitlist will close on Wednesday, November 13th.
• Refund Request: The last day to request a refund (please read the policy on this website before requesting) or transfer is Wednesday, November 13th.

🎉 Race Description

The City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, invites all runners and walkers to participate in a 5K Run/Walk in the magical setting of Gaithersburg’s Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park.

• Illuminated Experience: Winter Lights features more than 380 illuminated vignettes and 65 animated displays.
• Course Details: Runners and walkers will utilize the roads through the Park during the race.
• Traffic Control: Roads will be closed to traffic except for Emergency Vehicles and vehicles required for race management.
• Included Benefits: Race registration includes entry to the Park and parking is on-site and free of charge.

If you are unable to participate in the race, please consider volunteering instead. This is a sellout race and a waitlist will be in effect.
