🎨 About the Installation

• Partnership: We are partnering with the AHDA to support the launch of the Headache on the Hill: A Visual Installation.
• Visual Impact: The installation aims to depict the impact that headache and migraine disorders have on millions of Americans.
• Location: Thousands of purple flags will cover the National Mall Park near the nation’s Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
• Symbolism: The flags represent those affected by headache disease.

💡 Awareness and Fundraising

• Health Impact: Headache diseases affect more than 40 million people in the U.S. and 1 billion people globally.
• Cluster Headache: Affects 1 in 1000 people.
• Community Support: Participants help raise awareness for cluster headaches and other headache diseases.
• Social Media: Share your progress and participation using the #CureforCluster hashtag.

🌎 Participation Details

• Livestream: A virtual livestream will kick off the event on June 7 at 10:00 am ET.
• Race Bags: Shipped Race Bags are available for U.S. residents who register before April 15, 2025.
• Flexibility: You can run or walk at any location, using a treadmill or outdoors.
• Inclusivity: Bring your children, use strollers or participate in a wheelchair - pets can join too!

💜 Support and Recognition

• Awareness Month: June is Headache and Migraine Awareness Month: consider adding purple to your race gear.
• Proceeds: Will support Clusterbusters and the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy (AHDA).
• Team Participation: Form a team to fundraise together, or participate individually.
• Prizes: Awarded to the 3 individuals and 3 teams who raise the most funds.
