Schechter on the Move 5K Color Run & 1 Mile Color Fun Run

• Purpose: Your participation helps support the Krieger Schechter Day School! All proceeds will support the KSDS Scholarship Fund.

🎨 Color Run Details

• Themed Race: Join us for a Color Run! Throughout the course, runners will be doused from head to toe in colored powder.
• New Course: A new course route entirely on our campus, offering a dynamic mix of terrain.
• Fun Experience: Get ready to run, laugh, and get messy at the Color Run.
• Post-Race Activities: Enjoy activities including yoga, Zumba, and more to be announced!

🙌 Registration Options

• New Option: Race Supporter option allows you to cheer on your KSDS family or support the event without running.
• Flexible Participation: Arrive early to cheer or join later for post-race activities.
• No-Sweat Support: If you can't make it, register as a Race Supporter to still support our cause.

💻 Virtual Option

• Register Virtually: Participants can join even if they're not local.
• Race Swag: Available for pickup or can be mailed for an additional fee.
• Submit Results: Share your race results via text or email by June 3rd.
• Acknowledgment: Winners will be recognized, but virtual performances are not eligible for overall event awards.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up: Dates and times will be shared closer to the event.
• Onsite Availability: Limited availability for packet pick-up on Race Day.
• Recommendation: We highly recommend picking up your packet at a pre-race time to ensure a smooth race day.

🗓️ Timeline of Race Day

• Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 8 a.m.
• 5K Color Run Start: 9 a.m.
• 1 Mile Color Fun Run: 9:05 a.m.
• Post-Race Festival: Begins at 9:30 a.m.

🏆 Awards

• Ceremony Timing: Awards presented during the post-race celebration.
• Categories: Awards for top finishers in each KSDS grade level (K-8), Faculty, Alumni, and Adults (18+).
• Event Eligibility: Awards are offered for in-person event only.

📝 Additional Information

• Parking: Available on-site.
• Children: Must run/walk with an adult if under 10.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Registered by April 30 will receive a shirt: not guaranteed after this date.
• Safety Restrictions: Closed to bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, and pets. Strollers may be used for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Course Amenities: Water stop and mile markers placed throughout the course.
