✈️ How EXCITING it will be to run on our airport runway!!!
Take off on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for the 2025 5K on the Runway, presented by the Evansville Wartime Museum, benefiting the Evansville P-47 Foundation, Inc. giving runners a unique view of the airport and the Evansville Wartime Museum, while having fun and supporting a great, local organization.

- Kid’s Flight: 8:30 am CDT
💵 Registration and Entry Fee
- 5K Run/1 Mile Walk: $25 until February 14, 2025
- After February 14: $30, $35 from May 1 to May 3
- Kid’s Flight: $5 includes a medal
- Shirt Guarantee: Register by April 12th
📋 Packet Pickup
- Date: Friday, May 2, 2025
- Location: Evansville Wartime Museum, 7503 Petersburg Rd, Evansville, IN 47725
- Race Day Pickup: 7:00 – 8:30 am
- T-Shirts: Provided during pickup

- Trophies: Overall male and female runners
- Medals: Winners of each age bracket

- Walking Participants: Included in awards
⏱️ Results and Timing
- Chip Timing: For all participants
- Results Availability: Online after the event
- Email Notifications: Provided if email is given
- Timing Service: Officially timed by “To the Finish”
🚗 Parking
- Location: Thunderbolt Golf Range, 6901 Petersburg Road
- Shuttle Service: Provided to the museum
- Handicap Parking: Available at the museum
- Registration Note: Indicate need for handicap parking

As a result of this fundraiser, individuals and family members wishing to visit the Evansville Wartime Museum may visit and explore on race date only, May 3, 2025, for a special rate of $5/per person.
🛩️ Young Eagles Flights for Children ages 8-17
Following the event starting at 11am, EAA Chapter 21 will sponsor free flights for children ages 8-17 through the Young Eagles Program. Limited seats available. Must sign up online before the event. To sign up and for more information:
