🏃♂️ Race Details
- 5K Race: Begins at Buffalo Trace Council and winds through east-side neighborhoods of Evansville.
- 1 Mile Walk: Leads over the pedestrian bridge and back to the start.
- Santa Elf Run: Starts at 8:30 AM for kids ages 1-9: distances range from 50 to 150 meters.
- Medals: Given to all finishers of the kids run.
🏆 Awards
- 5K Awards: Overall Male and Female winners.
- Age Group Awards: 1st male and female in each group.
- Most Spirited Award: 5 awards across multiple categories.
- Prizes: For the jolliest Santa suits!
📝 Registration Information
- Registration Cost: $35 per participant: Santa Elf Run is $5 per child.
- Late Registration: Available on December 5 and 6 at the Buffalo Trace Council.
- Packet Pickup: Available on December 5 from 11 AM to 6 PM or on race day from 7 AM to 9 AM.
- Note: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
🧑🎄 Race Day and Timing
- Weather Policy: The race will not be canceled for inclement weather.
- Timing: Officially timed by "To the Finish." Results posted at www.tothefinishtiming.com.
- Strollers: Allowed at the 5K: caution advised during inclement weather.
- Prohibited: No dogs, bicycles, skates, skateboards, or scooters allowed in any race.
🚗 Parking Information
- Available Lots: Marked lots on Buffalo Trace Council and State Hospital property.
- Parking Regulations: Please obey parking signs and avoid busy surrounding streets.
- Plan Ahead: Parking is limited, so plan to arrive early.
