🎅 Race Overview
Evansville Rotary’s elves are busy preparing for the Santa Run on Saturday, 12/7/2024:
- Early Bird Price: $24 for 24 days between July 1 - 24
- Regular Price: $30 after July 24
- Event: 11th annual Evansville Rotary Santa Run
- Start Time: 9AM CANNON start from Buffalo Trace Council’s Eykamp Scout Center
📍 Date and Location
- Date: December 7, 2024 at 9 am
- Location: Buffalo Trace Council, 3501 E Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, IN
- 5K Course: Travels west to Vann Ave through east-side neighborhoods
- 1 Mile Walk: Begins at Buffalo Trace Council, leads over the pedestrian bridge and back
🏃♂️ Santa Elf Kids Run
- Start Time: 8:30am
- Distances: 50 meters for ages 1-3, 100 meters for ages 4-6, 150 meters for ages 7-9
- Medals: All finishers will receive a medal
- Participants: Kids ages 1-9
🏆 Awards
- 5K Awards: Overall Male and Female prizes
- Age Groups: 1st male and female in each group
- Most Spirited Award: Awards for Families, Teams, Kids, Young Adults, and Adults
- Finishers: All finishers of the kids run will receive a medal
📅 Registration Information
- Cost: $35 after November 30, Santa Elf Run is $5 per child
- Packet Pickup: December 6, 11am to 6pm, and Race Day from 7am to 9am
- Registration: Available on December 6 and 7: must fill out a registration form
- Non-Refundable: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable
🌧️ Race Day Details
- Weather Policy: The race will not be canceled for inclement weather
- Timing: Officially timed by "To the Finish"
- Strollers: Allowed in the 5K and 1-mile walk, but caution is advised in bad weather
- Parking: Available at marked lots, please do not park on busy streets
