You’ve conquered the 5K – now it’s time to go Beyond the 5K! This program is designed to help you safely and confidently train for your next milestone: the 10K. With expert coaching, supportive teammates, and a training plan to help you reach your goal, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Join us as we train together, celebrate milestones, and cross that 10K finish line!
📅 Program Details
- Duration: 8-week program geared towards runners looking to grow beyond the 5K distance.
- Prerequisite: Comfortable running a 5K (3 miles) prior to joining.
- Meeting Schedule: In-person sessions on Saturdays to build your miles together.
- Community: Interaction with coach, NJM members, and teammates during sessions.
👟 Coaching & Support
- Professional Guidance: An RRCA certified running coach will guide you throughout your journey.
- Motivation: Tips and "homework" in the form of a training schedule provided.
- Encouragement: Volunteers will join training runs to offer support and share experiences.
- Communication: Frequent email updates and availability for questions and guidance.
