🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 8th Annual Wayne Rotary 5K

Welcome to the 8th Annual Wayne Rotary 5K. This annual event assists the Wayne Rotary in raising much needed funds to support our Wayne Community. Provided the running of a 5K, a portion of the event proceeds will be allocated to support our Wayne Area High Schools running programs. Provided the introduction of an upgraded venue, Our Lady of the Valley Church and a super fast and flat course the event has applied for Championship status and been accepted. The Rotary is super excited to share this event with the USATF and their Coed Teams!

🌍 About Wayne Rotary Club

Wayne Rotary Club-Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1958. Wayne Rotary members volunteer locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self". Wayne Rotary Club also proudly supports:

• First Aid: Wayne Twsp. First Aid Squad
• Policing: Wayne Community Policing
• Community Events: Wayne Day
• Education Support: Wayne 3rd Grade Dictionary Program

Additionally, Wayne Rotary supports and sponsors many international projects such as:

• Polio Eradication: Polio Plus
• Life-Saving Surgeries: Gift of Life
• Literacy Projects: The Guatemala Literacy Project

*In order to be eligible, for an endowment interested HS Track/Running team must participate in this event.
