We welcome you for the fourth annual, Run for the Last Mile 5K. This is an officially registered, USATF Sanctioned and USATF-NJ Gran Prix 500 Point Race 5K run/walk course at William Paterson University. We are so proud of this event because of the good it does for our students. Every year there are those who reach their last year or last semester at William Paterson University, and find that they simply canāt afford those last few courses. This event directly supports a scholarship that bridges this affordability gap and helps students complete the "last mile" to their degree. We run the last mile so that our students can make it to graduation.
š Community Engagement
In addition to supporting the Last Mile Fund, we also value this event for the experience it brings to our community.
- Participating Teams: Individuals and participating teams (community groups, student groups, staff, faculty) can win awards.
- Musical Support: The course features musical support from William Paterson University's nationally recognized BRAVE NEW RADIO.
- Challenging Course: The route is somewhat challenging as it weaves over the hills and around the entirety of our beautiful main campus.

The first 250 registrants will receive a t-shirt and awards are given to top racers by individual categories and by team.
