61st Annual Captain Zinn Memorial 5K Races

• Location: Dorbrook Park, 353 County Road 537, Colts Neck, N.J.
• Event: Captain Zinn Memorial 5K Run and Racewalk
• Details: Bib and T-shirt pick-up will be right by the playground.

• Advance Registration: 50% off for all veterans and military personnel.
• Contact: Eligible individuals should contact us for a discount code.
• Honoring Veterans: This event honors all Vietnam Veterans.
• About Captain Ronald Zinn: A racewalker who was killed in Vietnam in 1965 and an Olympian.

• 9:30 AM: Kids Fun Run Starts
• 9:55 AM: National Anthem and Veterans' Recognition
• 10:00 AM: 5K Run Starts
• 10:02 AM: 5K Race Walk & Walk Starts
• 11:15 AM: Awards Ceremony

🏅 Awards

• Top Finishers: Top 3 male and female finishers for the 5K race receive special awards.
• Racewalk Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers for the 5K racewalk also receive awards.
• Military Awards: Top 3 male and female military personnel/veterans.
• Kids Run Awards: Top 3 boys and girls in the 1/2 kids run.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 finishers in each age group for the 5K race.

🗺️ Course Description

• Track: The 5K course includes one smaller and one larger loop on a paved path.
• Location: Entirely within the confines of scenic Dorbrook Park.
• Traffic: The park is closed to vehicular traffic during the races.

🌐 Virtual Race Option

• Participation: Sign up for our virtual option if unable to join in person.
• Race Shirt: Registered participants by March 20 will receive a race shirt mailed to them.
• Results Submission: Submit results (5K is 3.11 miles) by midnight on April 13.
• Awards: Top 3 male and female virtual race finishers will receive awards.
