🎉 Welcome to the Run for Shelter

Coastal Center for Hope & Healing (formerly known as Coastal Women's Shelter) would like to invite you to celebrate our Run for Shelter 5K, 10K, & 1 Mile race/walk fundraiser Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Creekside Park!

🏃 Multiple Options for 2025

• In Person 5K: with safety precautions in place
• In Person 10K: with safety precautions in place
• Virtual 5K: You can submit your run anytime between June 13-15
• Virtual 10K: You can submit your run anytime between June 13-15
• In Person 1 Mile: with safety precautions in place

🗓️ Event Details

SATURDAY JUNE 14, 2025
CREEKSIDE PARK
Race starts at 8 AM
Check in and same day registration starts at 7 AM and will end at 7:45 AM. Packet and T-shirt pick up will occur during this time. Runners must register by May 31st to secure their shirt. CWS will offer additional packet pickup events the week before the race for virtual runners to pick up their t-shirts. Participants will be notified of packet pickup locations and times.

Awards will be given (5K & 10K only) to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females in each age group.

💖 Support Our Cause

Coastal Center for Hope & Healing is the sole provider of no-cost comprehensive abuse and sexual violence services in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico counties. Our services include a 24-hour crisis line, court advocacy, monthly support groups, transportation assistance, tuition assistance, clothing, food, employment resources, housing assistance, and inter-agency information and referrals. We also provide some employability services through a grant from the North Carolina Council for Women.
