Mission
- Foundation Background: The Boots and Blooms Foundation was created in memory of our daughter, Lilly, and our son, Andy.
- Support Goal: To assist bereaved families experiencing the loss of a child.
- Annual Event: The 5K is held on the first Saturday in October to commemorate Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
- Personal Experience: We have faced the loss of two children and understand the importance of creating memories.
Proceeds
- Support Offered: Funds will help bereaved families make memories with their babies.
- Community Involvement: Join us to honor all the babies that are not physically here.

- Participation Reward: An awesome t-shirt for participating in the 5K.

- Medals: Awarded to the top 3 male and female overall finishers.
- Age Groups: Awards for male and female finishers in age groups 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and older.

Course Description
- Location: Boots and Blooms 5K will take place at Martin Marietta Park in New Bern, NC.
- Trail: The race will utilize the Dragonfly trail and adjacent trails for a total distance of 5K.
- Trail Type: An improved gravel trail with minimal elevation changes.
- Facilities: One water station along the course and light refreshments following the race.
