Neuse River Bridge Run helps bridge gaps in our community!

• Purpose: Adults and children, lace up your running shoes for fun, exercise and a worthy cause!
• Community Benefit: For over 20 years, the Neuse River Bridge Run (NRBR) has been uniting runners, walkers, volunteers and sponsors - all to support five important non-profit organizations in our community.
• Supported Organizations: Craven Community College Foundation, The Filling Station, Duffyfield Phoenix Project, Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina, and Twin River YMCA all benefit from your participation.

💪 Mission and Impact

• Goal: Our mission is to serve the community by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
• Collaboration: All six organizations are committed to working together to manage this event resulting in great benefits to our communities.
• Revenue Sharing: The five organizations equally share 100% of the net revenue generated by the events.

🏞️ Race Events and Courses

• Event Overview: The NRBR follows routes over bridges, through historic neighborhoods, and through downtown New Bern.
• Available Events: We offer four events: a 1/2 Marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and the SuperKids Fun Run.
• Virtual Options: In addition to the four in-person races, the NRBR will continue to offer all four options as virtual events for 2025.
• In-Person Races: Please note that only the in-person ½ Marathon and 10K events can offer the full bridges experience.

📅 Race Dates

• Event Dates: Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3, 2025.
• SuperKids Fun Run: Race day is Friday, May 2, 2025.
• Early Registration: Thursday May 1, 2025 - Early Registration and Packet Pick-up for the SuperKids Fun Run will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Religious Community Services (RCS) located at 919 George St, New Bern, NC 28560.

🏅 Half Marathon, 10K and 5K

• Event Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025.
• Timing: All three of these events will be timed with a chip enabled bib.
• Race-Kit Pick-up: Friday, May 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 3 from 6:00 a.m. to 15 minutes before the start of your race.
• Start Times: 7:00 a.m. for Half Marathon, 7:30 a.m. for 10K, 8:15 a.m. for 5K.

🎖️ Awards and Fees

• Finisher Medals: All 1/2 marathon runners who complete the race will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.
• Cost Increase: Early registration is through February 28th. Prices will increase on March 1, 2025.
• Current Fees: Half Marathon: $70, 10K: $55, 5K: $45, Kids Run: $20.
• Age Group Categories: Various categories from Age 14 and Under to Age 70 and over.

🖥️ Virtual Events

• Virtual Fees: Half Marathon: $70, 10K: $55, 5K: $45, Kids Run: $20.
• Date Range: Virtual events take place from Friday, May 2 - Saturday, May 10, 2025.
• Reporting: Virtual Races will not be timed, but race results can be tracked and reported via the Smart phone app RaceJoy.
• Race Kit: Virtual participants can pick up their race kit or pay for shipping.

🎉 Post Race Celebration

A celebration for all participants, their families, and supporters, will be held in the Riverfront Convention Center of Craven County (across the street from Union Point Park) from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Food, soft drinks, and beer will be served. Awards distribution will begin at 9:30 a.m.
