NC Fossil Fest 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The in-person NC Fossil Fest 5K run will be held on Sunday, May 25 in Aurora, NC.

🌟 Race Highlights

• Location: Town of Aurora
• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Aurora Fossil Museum
• Awards: Top Overall Male/Female and age group awards for Male/Female
• Bib Pickup: Race day starting at 7am in front of the Aurora Fossil Museum

🎉 Post-Race Activities

After the race, enjoy the Fossil Festival activities! Dig for teeth, visit the food and product vendors, explore the educational booths!

🌐 Virtual Participation

If you can't make it to the in-person event, you can opt to participate in our virtual event during the dates of May 01 - May 25. See virtual FAQs for more information on how to download the RaceJoy app and submit your results. An $8 shipping fee will be added to the registration fee to cover the cost of mailing your race packet to you.

🏅 Finisher's Medal and T-Shirt

• Finisher's Medal: All racers will receive a custom Finisher's Medal to commemorate participation
• T-Shirt: All racers signing up by April 25th will also receive a 2025 North Carolina Fossil Festival T-shirt!
