The in-person NC Fossil Fest 5K run will be held on Sunday, May 25 in Aurora, NC.
Join us for our Annual NC Fossil Festival 5K Fossil Run! The 5K will take place in the Town of Aurora. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Aurora Fossil Museum.
š Awards and Recognition
- Eligibility: All runners participating in person will be eligible for awards.
- Top Divisions: Awards will be given for Top Overall Male/Female.
- Age Categories: Age group awards for Male/Female will be presented.
- Bibs Pickup: Race bibs can be picked up on race day in front of the Aurora Fossil Museum starting at 7 am.
š Virtual Participation
If you can't make it to the in-person event, you can opt to participate in our virtual event during the dates of May 18 - June 01. See virtual FAQ's for more information on how to download the RaceJoy app and submit your results. An $8 shipping fee will be added to the registration fee to cover the cost of mailing your race packet to you.
š„ Finisher's Medal
All racers, whether in-person or virtual, will receive a custom Finisher's Medal to commemorate participation in this year's Fossil Fest 5K!
