This is a Frederick Steeplechasers Grand Prix Event. The Forest of Needwood Race on March 8th, 2025 will be an IN PERSON Race. (SNOW/WEATHER date if needed will be Saturday March 15, 2025). Race day registration starts at 11:00 AM. Gun goes off at 1 PM.

• Historical Significance: The Forest of Needwood Race is Frederick County's Oldest road race!!! (est. 1983).

COURSE: 5 MILE LOOP, ROLLING HILLS ON PAVED ROAD THROUGH THE HISTORIC PROPERTY CALLED FOREST OF NEEDWOOD.

💰 Registration Pricing

• 2025 Pre-Registration Prices: $10 for 18 and younger, $30 for 19 and older
• 2025 Race Day Registration Prices: $15 for 18 and younger, $35 for 19 and older
• Shirts: 42nd Annual commemorative NEEDWOOD SHIRT GUARANTEED TO ALL PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS if they pre-register BY FEBRUARY 21, 2025.
• Prizes: Fun random prizes at the award ceremony.

1st & 2nd place gender plaques for 19 & over. 1st place gender plaque for 18 & under. Age group medals 1st & 2nd place in 6 age groups.
