Chase Race and Paws

🐾 Run or Walk in the CHASE RACE Events!

🏃‍♂️ CHASE RACE 2-MILE

• Type: Not only an AR Grand Prix Championship Race but a fun family event.
• Guidelines: Walkers & slower runners must yield to faster runners on course.
• Course: All participants will be directed to the right side of course streets. No dogs in this one please!
• Timing: Course is USATF certified with disposable chip timing and S/F mats provided.

🐕 PAWS RACE 1-Mile

• Event: This event is for participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet.
• Inclusivity: It is a fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds, ages, and sizes!
• Timing: The course will be gun timed (no start mat).
• Location: Both events start & finish at Simon Park, 805 Front Street, Downtown Conway, AR.

🎉 Other Activities Include

• Costume Contest: Best Pet Costume Contest. Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race.
• Adoption Info: Local Animal adoption agencies and organizations will have information regarding their rescues as well as pets available for adoption.
• Sponsor Booths: Various sponsor booths with giveaways and information.
• Course Details: The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out and back, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid stations.

🏅 Runner Amenities

• T-Shirt: Each Participant will receive a souvenir T-Shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size, you must register before February 20th.
• Goodie Bag: Participants will also receive an awesome "goodie" bag.
• Finisher Medal: Each finisher will receive an official Chase Race medal.
• Results: Race results will be posted on Garner Timing Services website.

🥤 Refreshments

• Availability: Complimentary refreshments will be available for participants and their families on race day.

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Early Options: Early packet pick up options available at Compass Academy 1150 North Museum Rd Ste 108, Conway, AR on Friday, March 7th, 9 AM- 6 PM or at race site on race morning.
• Race Morning: Begins at 6:15 AM-7:45 AM.

🗺️ Directions to the Race

• Route: Take I-40 to exit 127, west on HWY 64 (Oak St) approx 1 mile to Front St., left (south) on Front.
• Location: Simon Park is on the right. Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.

🏆 Awards

• Ceremony: Awards ceremony will follow all races.
• Availability: Awards are also available for pick up at Compass Academy the week following the race.
• Patience: Please be patient & courteous to all award recipients
• Timing: Some will be getting personal recognition for the first time, and all takes time. No awards will be available prior to the official awards ceremony.

🏅 CHASE RACE 2-MILE

• Awards: Overall (3 male and 3 female), Masters (top 3 male and 3 female 40+ age group), Grand Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 50+ age group), Senior Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 60+ age group).
• Age Group Awards: Male & Female 1st 5 finishers in various age groups from 0-9 to 80+.
• No Duplication: No duplication of awards.
• CHASE RACE 2 mile WALK: Awards given to 1st 5 Male and 1st 5 Female finishers as they cross the finish line. NO AGE GROUP AWARDS.

🐶 Paws Race 1-Mile

• Pet Requirement: This is a PET required event.
• Trophies: FIRST 10 participants to cross the finish will receive a trophy (all others will receive a medal) and will be awarded at the crossing of the finish line.
• No Age Group Awards: There are no age group awards.
• Costume Contest: Pets must participate in the 1 Mile race to be eligible for an award. Winners will be decided during the race.
