🏃 CHASE RACE

🏃‍♂️ 2-MILE

• Event Type: Not only an AR Grand Prix Championship Race but a fun family event.
• Course Rules: Walkers & slower runners must yield to faster runners on course.
• Direction: All participants will be directed to the right side of course streets.
• Dog Policy: No dogs in this one please!

🐕 PAWS RACE 1-Mile

• Participant Eligibility: Event is for participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet.
• Event Nature: A fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds, ages and sizes!
• Timing: The course will be gun timed (no start mat).
• Location: Both events start & finish at Simon Park, 805 Front Street, Downtown Conway, AR.

🎉 OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Costume Contest: Best Pet Costume Contest. Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race.
• Adoption Information: Local Animal adoption agencies and organizations will have info regarding their rescue as well as pets available for adoption.
• Sponsor Booths: Various sponsor booths with giveaways and information.
• Course Details: The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out & back, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid station.

🚻 Runner Amenities

• Souvenir T-Shirt: Each Participant will receive a souvenir T-Shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size, you must register before FEBRUARY 20th.
• Goodie Bag: Participants will also receive an awesome "goodie" bag.
• Finisher Medal: Each finisher will receive an official Chase Race medal.
• Results: Race results will be posted on Mac’s Race Timing, AR RRCA, Arkansas Runner, and www.compassacademyconway.org.

🍩 REFRESHMENTS

• Available Refreshments: Complimentary refreshments will be available for participants and their families on race day.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick Up: Early packet pick up options- Compass Academy 1150 North Museum Rd Ste 108, Conway, AR Friday, March 7th, 9 AM- 6 PM.
• Race Day Pick Up: At race site on race morning, Saturday March 8th beginning at 6:15AM-7:45 AM.
• Directions: Take I-40 to exit 127, west on HWY 64 (Oak St) approx 1 mile to Front St., left (south) on Front, Simon Park is on the right.
• Parking: Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.

🏆 AWARDS

• Awards Ceremony: Will follow all races. Awards are also available for pick up at Compass Academy week following race.
• Patient Reminder: Please be patient & courteous to all award recipients, as recognition for first time will take some time.
• No Early Collection: No awards will be available prior to the official awards ceremony.
• Overall Awards: 3 male and 3 female, Masters (top 3 male and 3 female 40+ age group), Grand Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 50+ age group), Senior Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 60+ age group).

🚶 CHASE RACE 2-MILE

• Walkers Participation: Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 2-Mile Race.
• Finish Awards: Awards given to 1st 5 Male and 1st 5 Female finishers as they cross the finish line.
• Walking Rule: One foot must be touching the pavement at all times. WALKERS MUST WALK ENTIRE RACE: if caught running/sprinting/jogging, will be disqualified!

🐶 Paws Race 1-Mile

• Pet Requirement: PET required event.
• Trophy for First Finishers: FIRST 10 participants to cross finish will receive a trophy: all others will receive a medal.
• Costume Contest Awards: Best Costume Contest (5 Awards): Top 5 as determined by the Judges! Pets must participate in the 1 Mile race to be eligible for an award.
• Award Categories: Awards are-Most Pawsome, Best in Show, Outstanding Sportsmanship, Most Waggiest Welcome, Best Dressed.
