🐾 Run or Walk One or Both CHASE RACE Events!
🏃♂️ CHASE RACE
🏃♀️ 2-MILE is not only an AR Grand Prix Championship Race but a fun family event.
- Course rules: Walkers & slower runners must yield to faster runners on course.
- Course direction: All participants will be directed to right side of course streets.
- Dog policy: No dogs in this one please!
- Timing: The course is USATF certified and disposable chip timing with S/F mats provided.
🐕 PAWS RACE 1-Mile
This event is for participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet.
- Event nature: It is a fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds, ages and sizes!
- Timing method: The course will be gun timed (no start mat).
📍 LOCATION
Both events start & finish at Simon Park, 805 Front Street, Downtown Conway, AR.
🎉 OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
- Best Pet Costume Contest: Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race.
- Adoption info: Local Animal adoption agencies and organizations will have info regarding their rescue as well as pets available for adoption.
- Sponsor booths: Various sponsor booths with giveaways and information.
🔍 COURSES
The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out & back, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid station.
An experienced team of organizers will make the event exciting and fun. Restrooms available. We hope to see you at the starting line! Participants of all abilities.
🏅 Runner Amenities
- T-Shirt: Each Participant will receive a souvenir T-Shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size, you must register before FEBRUARY 20th.
- Goodie bag: Participants will also receive an awesome "goodie" bag.
- Finisher medal: Each finisher will receive an official Chase Race medal.

Race results will be posted on Mac’s Race Timing, AR RRCA, Arkansas Runner, and www.compassacademyconway.org.
🥤 REFRESHMENTS
Complimentary refreshments will be available for participants and their families on race day.
📦 PACKET PICK-UP
- Early pick up: Options available at Compass Academy 1150 North Museum Rd Ste 108, Conway, AR Friday, March 7th, 9 AM- 6 PM or at race site on race morning, Saturday March 8th beginning at 6:15 AM-7:45 AM.
🚗 Directions to the Race
Take I-40 to exit 127, west on HWY 64 (Oak St) approx 1 mile to Front St., left (south) on Front, Simon Park is on the right. Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.
🏆 AWARDS
Awards ceremony will follow all races. Awards are also available for pick up at Compass Academy week following race. Please be patient & courteous to all award recipients.
🏁 CHASE RACE 2-MILE
- Awards: Overall (3 male and 3 female), Masters (top 3 male and 3 female 40+ age group), Grand Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 50+ age group), Senior Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 60+ age group).
- Age Groups Awards: Male & Female 1st 5 finishers in age groups from 0-9 to 80+ . No duplication of awards.
- CHASE RACE 2 mile WALK: Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 2-Mile Race.
- Finisher awards: Awards given to 1st 5 Male and 1st 5 Female finishers as they cross the finish line. NO AGE GROUP AWARDS.
🐾 Paws Race 1-Mile
- Trophies: FIRST 10 participants to cross finish will receive a trophy (all others will receive a medal) and will be awarded at crossing of finish line. No age group awards.
- Best Costume Contest: Pets must participate in the 1 Mile race to be eligible for an award. The top 5 as determined by the Judges!
- Awards categories: Most Pawsome, Best in Show, Outstanding Sportsmanship, Most Waggiest Welcome, Best Dressed.
