Live Well 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Little Rock Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, in partnership with the Delta Presents Outreach Foundation, we will host the 2nd Annual Live Well 5K Run/Walk: A Physical and Mental Health Movement.

• Community Focus: An opportunity to bring the community together for the purpose of promoting physical and mental health/wellness.
• Health Benefits: Research has shown that running and walking have a positive impact on mental health like better sleep, stress reliever, improved self-esteem, sharper focus, and improved memory.
• Support Education: Your support will assist us in providing scholarship incentives for high school students interested in furthering their education.
• Family-Friendly: The event is for men, women, and children, encouraging a healthy and fun-filled experience.

🏅 Course Details

• Race Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
• Time Limit: 1 hour and 45 minutes. Participants still on the course after the time limit will continue with guidance or security.
• Timing: Chip timing will be used for the race.
• Race Bibs: Must be clearly visible on the front, unaltered, pinned in all corners and uncovered.

• Awards: TBD
• Event Swag: Short-sleeve T-shirt for those who register by May 1, 2025.
• Medal: All finishers will receive a medal.
• Note: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.
