The 4th Annual Juneteenth 5K run/walk is an opportunity for participants to support the mission of the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center as well as to see many of the city’s African American historical sites including:
- Arkansas Baptist College: A landmark in education and history.
- Little Rock Central High School: A significant site in the civil rights movement.
- Philander Smith College: Known for its contributions to higher education.
- Mifflin Gibbs Home: The home of the first elected black judge in the country.
