Up, Up, and Away 5k

🎈 Event Overview

Don't miss the chance to experience the excitement and beauty of the Kent State University at Stark campus, while hot air balloons float in the sky (weather permitting), on Saturday morning, July 26, for our UP, UP & AWAY 5K presented by OrthoUnited. This event is for both serious and casual runners and walkers.

🏃‍♂️ Kids Fun Run

Following the 5K run, at 8:50 am, there will be a FREE KIDS FUN RUN on the track near the finish line. This is a non-competitive fun run for children ages 8 & under. This race is all about fun and friends while teaching them the importance of exercise and fitness! Waiver MUST be signed by parent/guardian.

• Date: July 26
• Friday Event: Packet Pickup from 3:30 - 7:30 PM (Location TBD)
• Saturday Location: Kent State University at Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue Northwest, North Canton, OH 44720
• Saturday Timing:
  • 6:30 am – Packet Pickup/Registration
  • 8:00 am – Up, Up & Away 5K
  • 8:50 am – Kids Fun Run
  • 9:00 am – Awards

🏆 Awards

• Finisher Medals: You need to register early to guarantee your race keepsake
• Top Performers: Top 3 Male and Female overall
• Age Categories: Top 3 Male and Female in categories ranging from 12 & under to 85 & over

👕 Shirt Information

• Shirt Size: Registration does NOT guarantee a shirt after July 9, shirt sizes will be limited!
• 5K Registration: Short sleeve athletic t-shirts in sizes X-Small to 3X-Large included: $5 discount for no shirt option
• Kids Fun Run: Short sleeve athletic t-shirts in Youth X-Small to X-Large included with registration
