Join us for the 5th Annual Sancta Clara Nun Run on October 18, 2025!
🌳 Race Overview
- Location: 1121 44th St NE, Canton, OH
- Course: The 5K will run through the neighboring streets, the Middlebranch trail and finally through the monastery grounds with many cheering nuns!
- Awards Ceremony: Refreshments and food will follow at St. George's reception hall.
- Shirt Option: We have a shirt only option for those who cannot run or walk the course but still would like to support the Poor Clares sisters.
👶 Family Friendly
- Stroller Friendly: Strollers are welcome!
- Kids Fun Run: A free kids fun run starts at 8:40.
- 5K Start Time: The 5K will start at 9:00.
- Participant Limit: Registration is limited to the first 300 participants due to fire code regulations and parking.
💖 Support and Donations
- Beneficiary: All proceeds will benefit The Sancta Clara Monastery & its renovations.

- Finishers Medal: All Finishers get a running nun medal!
- Top Finishers: Top 3 Overall Male & Female.
- Age Groups: Top 3 Age Groups Male & Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
- Awards Ceremony: An awards ceremony will follow the race.
📅 Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Opens at 7:30 AM.
- Kids Fun Run: Starts at 8:40 AM.
- 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 9:00 AM.
- Award Ceremony: Follows the 5K run/walk.
