New Foundations Home for Children Cocoa 5K

☕ Race Overview

Join us for a fun-filled Cocoa 5K to benefit New Foundations Home for Children! Based in Anderson, New Foundations was founded in 1974 and serves foster and at-risk children and families throughout South Carolina. New Foundations offers in-home family preservation services, foster home services, and residential services, all to help children and families heal from trauma and other mental health challenges. New Foundations is a nationally accredited, nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. We are committed to securing the future for children and families, whatever it takes!

🏃‍♀️ Event Details

• Date: December 14, 2024
• Location: 3027 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Anderson, SC
• Course: A timed event covering mostly paved paths throughout the Sports and Entertainment Center complex. Part of the course may take place on the complex's fields.
• Weather Policy: This event is rain or shine but may be canceled in the event of severe weather, such as thunderstorms.

🎉 Participation

We welcome and encourage both runners and walkers. Whether your goal is to race for first place or to enjoy a walk with friends or family, we would love to have you join in to support the children of New Foundations!

🏅 Finisher Rewards

• Medals: All finishers will receive race medals and a cup of hot cocoa at the end of the race!
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers.
• Age Categories: Awards for the top three male and female age category finishers.
