• Organization: Beta Chi is the local Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing.
• Purpose: We raise funds to assist current and future healthcare students and leaders in achieving their educational pursuits by offering scholarships and grants.
• Impact: Beta Chi enhances the continuum of excellent healthcare in Northwest Louisiana through funding and educational opportunities.
• Community Focus: We support current and future students, leaders, and our local community.

• Time: 8:00 a.m.

📝 Registration:

• Early Registration Fee: $25.00 Thru October 18th
• Race Day Fee: $30.00

🏃‍♀️ Race Description:

• Location: Race begins near Northwestern State University College of Nursing (Shreveport Campus).
• Date and Time: Begins on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
• Survivor Challenge: Racers interested in winning the Survivor award will wear flag football straps to avoid flag-stealing zombies.
• Survival Status: Completing the course with a flag remaining results in survival status: losing all flags leads to infected status.

💵 Entry Fee:

• Registration Fees: $25 now thru October 18th, $30 on Race Day.
• Payment Methods: Pay with credit card ONLINE at www.sportspecturmusa.com or pay with cash, check, or credit card at Sportspectrum.
• Location: Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105.

👕 T-Shirts and Packet Pick-Up:

• Shirt Guarantee: Must register prior to midnight on October 9th, 2024 to guarantee a race shirt.
• Packet Pick-Up Location: Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue.
• Pick-Up Dates: Thursday, October 17th 12:00-6:00 PM and Friday, October 18th 10:00-5:30 PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available at the race site at 7:00 AM the day of the race.

🎽 Phantom Runner:

• Support Option: If unable to attend the race, you may donate or purchase a race packet online at the Sports Spectrum Website.
• T-Shirt with Donation: Option to receive a t-shirt while supplies last.

🏆 Awards:

• Survivor Awards: 1st place male and female.
• Age Group Awards: 1st and 2nd place male & female in each age group.
• Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+.

⚠️ Special Note:

• Allowed on Course: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and hand-pushed or pulled vehicles will be allowed at a walking pace.
• Prohibited: No in-line skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course.
