Paper Chase 5K

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The Paper Chase 5K, Presented by the EZBO Foundation, raises funds to support teachers and children with free supplies through Free 2 Teach. Free 2 Teach invests in public school teachers so that they can equip and inspire every child in their classroom. The race brings together teachers, administrators, students and community members all with the aim of supporting education in our county. Come out and join us on February 22, 2025 in downtown Huntsville. We are excited to come together as a community and support teachers and students!

🏆 Prizes

• First Place School: $1,500 for their school library and/or technology needs.
• Second Place School: $500 prize.
• Third Place School: $250 prize.
• Overall Winners: Every time a teacher shops with us, they leave with an average of $400 in their carts!

🏞️ Course Details

The course winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville and is a partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE). Runners of all levels are invited as are walkers. This is a great way to run with your family and friends in a casual and fun environment. Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course.

🗓️ Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Please register by January 31, 2025 to guarantee a T-shirt!
• Event Type: This race will be an in-person event, rain or shine.
• Fee Policy: The race fee will go toward your registration and all funds are non-refundable.
• Online Registration Deadline: Online registration closes at 5pm on February 21, 2024!
