🏃‍♂️ Course Update

• New Start and Finish: At this time 10k and 5k race start and finish has been moved to the west end of Pt Mallard Park.
• Location Details: The start will be on the road in front of the west entrance to the water park and archery range and the finish will be in the parking lot near the archery range pavilion.
• Course Routes: The course routes will be the same with the exception of the start and finish.

🌼 Race Legacy

• Established Event: For over three decades, the River City Run has been one of North Alabama’s most anticipated Spring RRCA runs.
• Charity Partnership: We are proud to partner with The Committee on Church Cooperation as our Charity Sponsor.

🏁 Race Categories

• Available Races: Runners can participate in the 5K, 10K, 5k/10K Double or the all ages Fun Run.
• Course Characteristics: The 10K and 5K courses are flat and fast.
• Route Information: The first 3.5 miles of the 10K are run through quiet residential streets. The finish of the 10K and the entire 5K is run on the park and golf course perimeter road which runs along the beautiful Tennessee River.
• Fun Run Details: The Fun Run is an out-and-back on the park perimeter road.

👕 T-Shirts and Registration

• T-Shirt Availability: T-shirts to the first 200 registered. Register early to guarantee size.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 11am to 1pm at Fleet Feet Madison, 181 Hughes Rd.
• Evening Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 5 to 7pm at Cross Eyed Owl Brew Pub, 105 1st Av NE, Decatur.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on race morning at Point Mallard Park Archery Range Pavilion beginning at 6:30am.
