5th Annual event, 2025 Will Haney Foundation Race of Champions 5K with proceeds to fund the Will Haney Foundation Scholarship program.
🎗️ About the Foundation
- Established: 2014 in memory of our son, brother and friend who was taken from us by childhood cancer on January 8, 2011.
- Mission: Support patients and families suffering from cancer by providing for their needs, offering cancer research funding, and providing scholarships for graduating seniors entering the nursing profession.
- Focus: While all types of cancer will be supported, the Foundation focuses primarily on childhood cancer, especially research for Rhabdomyosarcoma.
🏃♂️ Race Details
- Distance: USTAF distance Certified 5K.
- Course Type: Multi-surface, includes high school stadium track, asphalt, fine gravel running trail, and boardwalk.
- Shoe Recommendation: A multi-surface shoe is suggested.
- Course Profile: The course is flat and fairly fast.
