✈️ Memorial Background
- Tribute: Established in memory of USMC Captain Jeff Kuss after his tragic plane crash on June 2, 2016.
- Community Support: The Smyrna community and Blue Angels fans united to create the living memorial.
- Location: The illuminated memorial is in Lee Victory Park across from the airport.
- Featuring: A recently retired Blue Angel F/A-18 Hornet aircraft, BUNO 163498, on permanent loan to the Town of Smyrna.
💖 Contribution
- Proceeds: Funding directly contributes to the maintenance and upkeep of the Captain Jeff Kuss USMC Memorial.
- Scholarship: Supports the Memorial Scholarship created in 2023.
