Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage is proud to host the 3rd annual 7th President 7k, a unique course set on the property that the nation’s 7th president once called home. The 7k will take runners across paved pathways and fields as they take in the rolling hills and landscape of The Hermitage property. Runners will get the chance to see Tulip Grove Mansion, the home of Rachel Jackson’s nephew, as well as the Hermitage Church, completed in 1824 as a place for the neighborhood to worship. The race will end at The Hermitage Mansion, the crown jewel of the property. This race will also feature a 2-mile walking course, perfect for those who want to see this historic property.

Early Registration: Participants who register by September 16, 2024 will also receive a T-shirt.

Prizes: Awarded for overall male and female winners.

🚧 Course Information

Timing: THIS EVENT IS NOT CHIP TIMED BUT WILL HAVE A ROLLING TIME CLOCK.
Course Type: THIS IS A CROSS COUNTRY COURSE. Beautiful fields, grass, small amount of trail and road.
Strollers: Not recommended due to course conditions: please line up toward the back if bringing.
Dogs: Not allowed on the course but welcome on the grounds with a leashed.

🅿️ Parking and Packet Pick-Up

Parking: Please enter off the Old Hickory Blvd entrance. Signs and volunteers will direct you to the parking area.
Packet Pick-Up: Available from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 18 at Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Available from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage.

This 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark is presidential history in Nashville's backyard.
