Caldwell in Color 5K 2025

🎉 Event Overview

The Caldwell Classic Color Run is organized by students from the National Honor Society and their teachers at Saint Pope John Paul II Preparatory School. We are coming together as a community to raise funds for The Jason Foundation, who calls Hendersonville their home. The Jason Foundation is dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers, and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.

🏃‍♂️ Color Run Experience

The Color Run is a fivish-kilometer, untimed event. The participants are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. It is truly a magnificent way to celebrate life with people from our community.

If looking like a box of crayons is not your cup of tea, we will have routes for you to forego the color and enjoy the sights of those passing through the color stations.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Bib Pickup: Participants will be able to pick up their bibs, t-shirt and race bag on Thursday 4/24 during school lunch and from 3:00-3:30 pm by the main office.
• Late Registration: If those times do not work for you, please arrive by 8:00 am, pick up will be at the Football Stadium concession stand. Late registrations will be available on site, but we cannot guarantee t-shirts.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive at JPII by 8:40 am at the latest. The starting line will be at the lower soccer field. Go to the "raffle table" to enter your name for the opportunity to win awesome prizes!
• Race Start: Race starts at 9. Please stick around for prizes around 10 am.

🌳 Course Information

Be prepared to walk/run on different surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and grass. The course is not friendly for traditional strollers. We do not recommend that you bring your dogs since the color is not good for them. If you do, we ask that you take the color-less route.

If you choose the color route, your clothes will stain, particularly if you wear white which is traditional for color runs. Bring sheets or towels to protect your car seats. We will have leaf blowers available which effectively remove powder from skin, hair, and clothes.

👓 Safety Precautions

PLEASE WEAR EYEGLASSES AND A BANDANA TO COVER EYES AND MOUTH WHILE PASSING THROUGH COLOR STATIONS.
