- Mission: A 501c non-profit charitable organization for the Shreveport/Bossier area. Our primary goal is to help hard working single parents with limited income to be able to give their children the things that’s hard for them to provide.
- Support: To help assist the needs of their children with gifts at Christmas as well as throughout the rest of the year.
- Kindness: No Act of Kindness, however small, is ever Wasted!

- 1/2 Mile Fun Run: 7:45 a.m.
- 5k Start: 8:00 a.m.

📝 5k Registration
- Cost: $30.00
- Included: $30 Registration includes a short sleeve shirt. If you would like a long sleeve shirt, $5.00 will be added to your entry when you select a long sleeve shirt size.
- Race Day Registration: $40.
- Donations: Please bring an unwrapped toy to the race for the kids.
👶 Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run
- Cost: Free for Kids 12 & Under.
- No Shirt: No Shirt for Free Entry. You must sign up for the 5k to receive a shirt.
👟 Phantom Runner
- Support Option: If you cannot be there but still would like to show your support, sign up as a Phantom Runner.
- Registration Fee: $20. Phantom runners do not receive a shirt.
⏰ Register Early!
- Shirt Guarantee: No shirts guaranteed to late registrants. You must register by November 7th to guarantee your shirt size.
👕 T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up
- Shirt Details: Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Roy’s Kids 5k” t-shirt.
- Pick-Up Locations: Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum.
- Dates: Thursday, December 5th from 12 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday, December 6th from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Race Day: You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:30 a.m.
🏆 Awards
- Winners: Overall male & female winners will receive $100 cash, Overall runner up male and female will receive $50 cash.
- Age Group Awards: 1st & 2nd Place in each of the age groups will receive an award.
- Age Groups: 11-under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
🍕 Post Party
- After Race: Stick around for food and drinks after the race.
🚼 Special Note
- Allowed: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only.
- Restrictions: Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
