BCH Foundation Trestle Hustle

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Join us: for our 16th Annual Trestle Hustle hosted by the Boone County Hospital Foundation.
• Date: The event will take place on June 21, 2025.
• Location: Starting at Dalander Park / Johnson Trailhead (702 E 3rd St, Madrid, IA 50156).
• Options: Offering both in-person and virtual race options.

🏅 Race Categories

• Participants: All abilities are welcome, ages 14 and over.
• Choices: Complete a Duathlon (2-mile run, 14-mile bike, 2-mile run) OR a 5K or 10K run.
• Time: Races begin at 8:00 AM.
• Chip Timing: Our races will be chip-timed by True Time Racing Services.

⏰ Registration Details

• Earlybird Pricing: Available through May 11: $50 for 5K/10K, $60 for Duathlon.
• Increased Pricing: After May 17: $60 for 5K/10K, $70 for Duathlon.
• Virtual Option: Participants can complete the race anytime between June 20-22.
• Bridge Crossing: Note that only the 10K will allow crossing the High Trestle Trail Bridge.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Drive-Thru: Packet pick-up available at Boone County Hospital on June 20, from 4 – 6 PM.
• Alternatives: Contact us for other arrangements if needed.
• Race Day: Packets also available on the morning of the race.
• Recommendation: We highly encourage picking up packets before race day.

🧼 Safety Measures

• On-site Hygiene: Staff will provide hand sanitizer, wipes, trash cans, and cleaning supplies.
• Facilities: Handwashing stations and portable toilets will be provided.
• Virtual Submission: Participants can submit times any time between June 20-22.
• Process: Detailed submission steps provided after registration.

🍽️ Food and Awards

• Food: Expect "grab and go" foods such as granola bars and bottled water.
• Finisher's Medal: Participants will receive a medal upon completion.
• Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd places will be awarded in each event and age category.
• Mailing Medals: Virtual participants will receive medals via mail the week of June 23, 2025.
