🌷 Welcome to the Newport Rhode Races
Join us in the City-by-the-Sea for this stunning marathon, half marathon and 5k. Newport Rhode Races partners with the upcoming Annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival to give you a true Spring Newport Experience. Our courses will pass along many of the over 1,200,000 starting to bloom around the City by the Sea. (We'll call it Dash through the Daffodils!)
🏁 Race Schedule
- Marathon Start: 7:30 a.m. on April 19, 2025 at Easton's Beach, Newport, RI.
- Half Marathon Start: 7:45 a.m. from the same location.
- 5k Start: 8:15 a.m. from the same beautiful seaside start.
- Beach Mile Start: 11:30 a.m., on the beach adjacent to the finish line.
🌊 Race Details
Beach Mile will be an out-and-back on Easton’s Beach, finishing under the Race Arch. As the race is on the beach, please plan for uneven surfaces, beach debris, seaweed, shells, and all those wonderful items we love about the ocean. This will be part of the challenge of completing the course.
- Course Certification: The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
- Environment Respect: Please respect our native environment - STAY OFF THE DUNES, use trash receptacles, and recycle as much as possible.
- Weather Policy: Newport Rhode Races will happen rain or shine. No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
- ID Requirements: There are no age restrictions but you must show your ID when picking up your bib.
- Registration Transfers: Yes, you can transfer your bib, transfer your race entry to select other races in our portfolio within one year or defer your entry to next year's race.
- Packet Pickup: Times are located on our website at this link. Race packets MUST be picked up in advance of race day unless you have reserved RACE DAY packet pick up during the registration process.
- Group Discounts: YES! Individuals can refer 3 friends using their unique referral code and receive $15 back.
