• Beneficiaries: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center and Newport County YMCA Summer Scholarship Fund
• Previous Success: Last year raised $8,623 for each organization
• Participation: Help us support the community and remember Charlie Holder Sr.

📜 Remembering Charlie Holder Sr.

• Background: Newport legend, outstanding athlete in basketball, football, and golf
• Service: U.S. Army paratrooper with the 82nd airborne division
• Family: Married high school sweetheart, had three children and six grandchildren

📅 Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: April 1st for guaranteed t-shirt
• Bib Pickup:
  • May 16, 2025 - 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • May 17, 2025 - 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM
• Suggested Arrival: 7:00 AM for bib pickup: 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM if bib is already picked up
• Awards Ceremony: 9:15 AM for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

🚗 Parking Information

• Entrance: Use John Clarke Road, Valley Road entrance will be closed
• Parking Areas: People's Credit Union Lot and Child & Family (127 & 31 John Clarke Road)
• Handicap Parking: Available at the YMCA lot, which is prioritized for Y activities
• Welcome: Strollers and dogs (on leash and with poop bags) are welcome!

• Restrooms: 3 port-a-potties in front of the YMCA and bathrooms inside
• Post-Race: Stay for awards and participate in the bib raffle with fabulous prizes!
